"Our Goal is to deliver elevated, bespoke, and soul-centered creative experiences."

OUR CREATIVE VISIONARY

The foundation of Sofalé Designs was laid long before the company was born. Growing up, Sofalé watched her grandmother, Dolores, and mother, Phyllis, transform neglected homes into beautiful, purposeful spaces—sparking a lifelong passion for creativity and design. After graduating from Howard University with a Fine Arts degree, Sofalé began her career in art education before co-founding S.A.G.E. (Spirituality in Art Generates Enlightenment), a nonprofit dedicated to bringing multidisciplinary arts programs to inner-city youth.

Through this work, she embraced the philosophy: art is more than aesthetics—it is a catalyst for transformation and healing. A pivotal chapter occurred in Savannah, Georgia, where she assisted her grandmother in the management of The Grand Toots Inn.

Dolores was Savannah’s first African American to own a bed & breakfast, which was later featured on HGTV. Returning to Washington, D.C., she expanded her creative juices into a multidisciplinary design house specializing in fine art, luxury interiors, production design, and immersive experiential environments.

THE HEART OF GIVING

Community impact remains at the core of Sofalé’s work. Giving back is a reflection of who she instinctively is a person. Through her support of organizations dedicated to healing, empowerment, and education, she continues to use creativity as a force for positive change.
